How I designed home page for fintech company-ZOTH leveraging blockchain technology to revolutionize financial markets.

This project was done under the internship at Zoth. I will outline the procedure involved in crafting a landing page for an institute-grade fixed income marketplace platform. At the core of this project lies the essence of the Blockchain and a Digital Asset selling and buying Platform.

A Quick overview of the project

The aim is to create a website for Zoth, a fintech startup revolutionizing financial markets by bringing assets onto blockchain rails, enabling DeFi integrations and creating efficient global markets. Tailored investment options for liquidity, risk, and return allow investors to access diverse opportunities.

Target Audience:

Zoth caters to the niche segment of the society by offering easy liquidity, efficient transaction support, transparent platform for the investors.

  1. Large Asset owners: Looking for channel partner who can help liquidate his inventory
  2. Person wants to invest in stocks, startups and real estate: Wants to start investing in CRE properties in India and abroad.
  3. One has moderate knowledge of technology and mobile trading: Wants easy to use, transparent platform for Alternate investments.

User Personas:

Users may discover Zoth through various channels, including online financial platforms, word-of-mouth recommendations, targeted advertisements, or traditional marketing channels. That will engage the users with different profiles.

Business Metrics Targeted

  1. Increase Customer Retention
  2. Lower Bounce off Rate
  3. User engagement with the product

Process:

The design process involved several key steps: researching to understand user needs, creating mood boards to establish visual direction, developing information architecture for logical content organization, and sketching wireframes to outline the layout. Visual design was then applied to refine the look, followed by iterations to improve the design based on feedback, culminating in the final design.

Objectives on which I focused

  1. Clear Goal-Oriented Design: I zeroed in on clearly articulating the key purpose of a business and ensuring that visitors are aware of what the company offers with the help of the created landing page.
  2. User-Centered Visual Presentation: Recognizing that the company’s target audience is a niche, elite section of society, I designed the homepage to have a classy and premium look by utilizing premium color palette that depicts richness and elegance, ensuring the platform resonates with affluent users.
  3. Call to Action: To enhance conversion rates, I integrated calls to action (CTAs) consistent with the website’s use of a waitlist. As assets were about to be listed on the platform, these CTAs provided a direct channel for users to engage with the assets and proceed with joining the waitlist by paying a minimal amount.

Wireframes and IA:

Here, I structured the information architecture by dividing it into sections and determining the content for each one. This approach allowed me to prioritize decisions for each section effectively.

Colors and Typography:

I aimed to design this website to appear clean, premium, and seamless while maintaining a rich, sophisticated vibe as a premium investing and blockchain platform. Rather than looking like an ordinary investing website, the style guide includes a color scheme that evokes richness and a premium feel, catering specifically to the target audience.

Iterations

Key iteration points based on CEO’s and CTO’s feedback:

  • Recommendation for the hero section to make it more prominent and improve the visualization.
  • Recommendation for the asset section to improve it visually.
  • Include About us section.
  • Include Featured properties section.
  • Placement of the Testimonial and remove the Service offered.

Visual Design

1. Hero Section

I aimed to create a compelling hero section, understanding it’s crucial role as it’s the first impression for the users which can increase the conversion rates.

Heading: I Crafted an appropriate heading and sub-heading that directly communicates the company’s service without confusing the user.

CTA: Intergrated the important Call to Action Buttons to get the exclusive invite that will send the updates on the user’s mail and to join our social media channels, such as Discord and Telegram so that they can stay in touch with the updates on the product.

Visual: I try to start with the premium schema to keep it targeted for the niche segment and elite class of the society.

Hero Video: I have utilized the Idea of Block Chain for selecting the hero video that gives the idea in the first look that this platform based on the blockchain.

2. How to Invest

All investment features were displayed clearly to indicate the target audience and what Zoth provides. Key features include access to Premium Assets, Zoth Market Place, TaaS, Asset Trust, Yield and Trade.

Visuals: To engage users animations were built into the platform. These animations guide users through the investment process, making it easy and intuitive plus engage user to spend more time on understanding the product.

3. World Class Asset

Here, I have motive to show all the assets that zoth is dealing with -

  • EV Vehicles
  • Real Estate
  • Farmlands
  • Digital Art

Visual: Choose the Premium, high Quality and Futuristic images so that it can displays the assets we are dealing with.

CTA: here is to join the “Waitlist”, that depicts that the product is about to launch soon.

4. Zoth Club —Loyalty Program

Mentioning “Loyalty” and “Club” emphasizes exclusivity and special status. By joining the Zoth Club, members receive Exclusive Access to Premium Asset Classes, Special Offers on Upcoming Launches.

Visuals: Visuals use a golden color palette to enhance the sense of exclusivity.

All the privileges are explained through smooth animations designed to engage users and highlight every special offer and benefit they will receive upon joining the club.

5. Our Special Properties

Visual: Displayed the best photographs of the asset that matches with the theme, and the exclusivness can also be depict from aesthetics of the images there.

CTA: “Get Exclusive Invite” to make the use attract towards the featured properties, that makes them feel like it’s an oppotunity.

6. Team Details

The section is important for displaying that Zoth comprises industry experts and visionaries dedicated to revolutionizing the financial markets through blockchain technology.

Together, our team is committed to providing the best investment opportunities and customer experience, bridging the gap between traditional finance and the future of blockchain technology.

CTA: By clicking the button, User will be redirected to the LinkedIn profile of the respective team member.

7. Trusted Backers

To enhance user trust and convey prominence, we prominently display our esteemed backers. Seeing our great backers reassures users of the credibility and trustworthiness of Zoth.

8. Testimonials

To emphasize the premium nature of Zoth, I aimed to incorporate glassmorphism into the design. This not only showcases customer reviews but also highlights the trust our customers place in us.

The elegant glassmorphism design not only enhances the visual appeal but also make user to focus on the credibility and trustworthiness of Zoth through genuine customer feedback.

9. Join the Mailing List

Incorporating a mailing list is crucial as it provides a direct and personalized channel for communication. It ensures that users are kept informed about relevant updates and opportunities, fostering engagement and trust.

By offering timely and relevant information, the mailing list helps users stay connected with the platform, enhancing their overall experience, satisfaction and fostering a deeper relationship.

10. Footer

A well-designed footer is crucial for enhancing user experience (UX) because it provides easy access to essential information and resources.

1. Navigation and Accessibility: The footer consolidates key links to important pages, such as contact information, privacy policies, and terms of service, ensuring users can find what they need quickly and easily.

2. Trust and Credibility: Including contact details and legal information reinforces the platform’s credibility and reliability, helping to build trust with users.

3. User Engagement: Providing links to social media to stay connected and engaged with the platform, fostering a deeper relationship.

4.Information Hierarchy: By placing secondary but essential information in the footer, the main content area remains uncluttered, improving the overall readability and focus of the website.

5. Consistent Experience: A footer ensures that critical information is consistently available across all pages, enhancing the user’s ability to navigate and interact with the site efficiently.

Incorporated these elements in the footer contributes to a more user-friendly, accessible, and trustworthy experience on the platform.

By seamlessly integrating premium design elements with user-centric features, we’ve created a landing page that captivates and engages. The result is an intuitive, visually stunning experience that embodies Zoth’s innovative approach.
